Abstract:

The numerical simulation of a certain concrete- filled steel tubular (CFST) column and steel beam composite frame structure in high-rise building when different parts were subjected to fire were carried out, and the temperature distribution of structural members under the high temperature, and the fire resistance, the deformation conditions, and the stress distribution  were studied. The results show that the temperature of the topflange of the steel member is the lowest when considering the beneficial action of floor slab. Also, the deformation of the ground floor is the most serious, the fire resistance rating is the shortest, the stress of steel tube is the most concentrated, and the core concrete stays compressed status of whole section.
