Research on the phenomenon of backdraft based on experiment and FDS

Abstract:

The fire backdraft phenomenon of a full- size chamber using wood as fuel was studied, showing the backdraft phenomenon in a real scene and analyzing the backdraft delay time and indoor temperature changes. FDS was used to simulate the experiment. The simulation results show that the flame shape and indoor temperature change trend of the spray opening when backdraft occurs are basically the same as the actual experiment.On this basis, FDS was used to study the effect of different opening times on backdraft in the closed chamber with large opening and small opening.
