Abstract: Pyrolysis behaviors of C6F-ketone were simulated using a tube cracking furnace and the factors influence HF generation were studied. HF generation by C6F- ketone extinguishing agents from different production processes were compared, then HF generation was compared with C6F-ketone and other HFCs. The share of HF generated from thermal decomposition increased with decomposition temperature and residence time. The HF generation of C6F-ketone from differnt production technology were mostly the same. Compared with other HFCs, initial cracking temperature of C6F- ketone was lower(500 ℃ ), more HF was generated at low and moderate temperatures(550~750 ℃).
