Abstract: Based on gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, the obtained neoprene solvent, colloid and its combustion residue spectrum were compared with the 120# gasoline sample and its combustion residue spectrum. The results showed that the original spectrum of the chloroprene solvent and the 120# gasoline spectrum were similar, but there were still differences. The toluene content in the chloroprene solvent was higher, and the toluene was not contained in the 120# gasoline. The aromatic components of 120# gasoline burning residue and neoprene combustion residue can be detected, and the characteristic components in the traditional fuel gasoline of fused aromatic hydrocarbons will interfere with the identification of traditional fuel gasoline. If 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol is found in the test sample, 1-tert-butyl-2-methoxy-4-methylbenzene can eliminate the interference of neoprene on gasoline. The experimental results can provide reference for the identification of adhesive fire evidence such as neoprene.
